Sustainable Energy Practitioners Association of Nigeria (SEPAN) is an umbrella organization of all Sustainable and Renewable Energy of Nigeria. This apex organization works in the area of policy advocacy and is a National Platform for addressing all issues connected with Sustainable and Renewable Energy growth in Nigeria. It consists of leading international, National and regional companies and includes, Manufacturers, EPC Contractors, Rooftop Installers, System integrators, and Balance of Plant suppliers and manufacturers, Small and Medium Enterprises and works in a complimentary manner with the Federal and State Governments.
SEPAN’s vision is to promote sustainable energy development in Nigeria and ultimately be a major player in the global renewable industry.
Our Mission is to provide leadership in the renewable energy sector by promoting evidence based progression.
SEPAN will operate under the strategic governance of a dedicated Board of Trustees, which provides executive oversight for the organization. At the helm of this Board will be a designated Chairman or President who steers the overarching vision. Below the Board, the day-to-day operations will be organized into several distinct directorates. In a deliberate departure from traditional models, none of these directorates will be led by a Director General.
We shape policy, build capacity, and connect the sector to accelerate clean energy adoption. Our work puts renewable power at the center of Nigeria’s energy strategy.
