This department will ensure that the welfare of members (both institutional and individuals) are protected and also ensure the coordination of Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSRs) coming from the institutional and individual members. Therefore the Solar Empowered Schools (SES), a CSR initiative from African Sustainable Energy Association (AFSEA) with the objective of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals Number 7 as defined in Transforming Our World-the UN 2030 Agenda. SES hopes to provide 2 million primary school kids across Africa with solar lamps to ensure they have access to clean energy and increase their reading culture. The SES will help Investors Capital achieve their corporate social responsibility and score carbon credit points.
